Yes, but it may not be those communications that have people speculating.
TPL's appeal has been dismissed. There were two extensions of time granted and the request for a third was opposed by PTSC and subsequently denied. The failure to timely file the opening brief after all the delays, tells me that Leckrone never sought to pursue the appeal, just use it to drag out litigation and as leverage during negotiations with PTSC. That leverage is gone. Certainly begs the question. Why didn't TPL file the brief?
