You know, I suppose anything is possible. Certainly, it seems the events leading to the run-up to $2 were "crafted" to create an enviroment where S&L could unload their shares at significant premiums. And there have been a number of posters on several of the boards who would seem to fit the "category". Who knows the how/why/where's of it all, and it would be hard to pursue illumination of it from a retail shareholders point of view, IMO.

However, what DOES seem pretty apparent, is that the company has done little to "craft" a similar environment since. And in fact often seems to be doing the opposite either intentionally or through ineptitude.
