Yes, it is the wrong word, but it is an often typical word used by liberals when confronted with what really is 'passion' about a certain subject matter.

In this instance, many are passionate about the failed leadership, execution, and inabilities of the PTSC BoD; and then there are a few others who are passionate about defending BoD ineptness / failure / deception.
