This is exhorbitant. As a ``consultant`` or ``contractor`` this hourly rate of $130/hr is probably in line. But as an employee.......this is over $250k per year. That`s ridiculous for a company with $3M in cash and no real income except a small royalty stream......and no volume of transactions. Absolutely stupid. I`d say even in Calif they can find someone quite capable for 1/2 what they are paying.

The only explanation would be if he brings VC connections or other intangibles. Reflects very poorly on our management`s judgement and ability to conserve cash.

By comparison, we are a $25M company with thousands of transactions per year, 20% net profit and 50 employees.....and we don`t have a CFO, just a controller, who makes under $100k/yr......granted in Ohio.

Its just one more big red flag ....... to add to the many over the past 6 years.......
