as shareholder letters go in general, this one from Pohl rates a 8 on a 10 point scale.
Pohl was direct and answered many of the questions that have been posted on this board since June (maybe he does scan the board). Granted some of the content of the letter did not please (such as amd and intc no recurring rev.) but then again some of us had a good inkling that was the case. The letter also stated what we already knew from the agreement, in that tpl has the strong hand in most of what we are going to do in the near future. He also spoke of better and more pr in the future (we can only pray that this is so). He gave a definite direction for the company (umbrella) which was new and no he did not say what we were going to do with the money the company was receiving but lets give that some time.
As far as reoccurring revenue we will just have to wait and see but I for one believe that having amd and intc on board will expedite settlements. How much and how is the 64K$ question. Also having one of us on board even if just as an advisor is a great first step in making sure our voice and interest are heard
(go Brian!). If some feel that this is not good enough then maybe next time all independent shareholders can pool their shares and we can get him elected to the full board.
For us we now have at least some of what we have been looking for and it is time for us to decide for ourselves if this is where we want to be. With the information we have is the glass half full or half empty? To complain, and knock the company today makes no sense. I suggest we all give the negatives a breather and at least realize we did get the promised sh. ltr and it was not the fluff some had predicted.
best to all and still long
