prior to 1995 all chips were tied to the cpu motherboard therefore they were synchronous after 1995 chips were asynchronous, able to speed up not tied to the cpu. therefore a new technology was establised and ptsc were awarded patents for this tech. now comes the question if this is the case what's the problem do we have one. would like to hear from an expert. It will take years to redesign chips around our technology. am i missing something
