Point taken Banks, but Guyver`s right - at this point it comes down to maturity, and how that person reacts to others under pressure.
To briefly clarify my actions in this saga, I noticed the exchange of posts starting to take a wrong turn and when it rapidly escalated, I thought it best to act on some Ron and Fut`s requeststo get Agoracom involved. I directly emailed paulk@agoracom to ask for review and take appropriate action - be it ignore, warn or delete the posters account. They ultimately made the call, applying THEIR rules for posting.
They own the thread, we`re just entrusted to use it wisely.
So in brief, I`m not the sherriff - but in this case, the tattletale, if you will.
IMO anyone is welcome to post, just exercise descretion and restraint.
