I believe many here are of the opinion that nothing much matters anymore until some company pays a huge court settlement.

IMHO, the fluff you suggest above would be laughed at - Not only by infirngers, but shareholders as well. Has your desire to find fault clouded your reasoning? You honestly believe that such a pr would get infringers to line up at our settlement table for big bucks?
