Here's a thought: Since Ellison is looking for Chip companies and IP companies of all kinds, maybe it's not too far of a stretch that he looks at PTSC for the MMP. Follow my logic: Marc Hurd, former CEO of HP (one of the 1st MMP licensees) left HP amid an HR scandal and is currently co-president of Oracle. One would think that Hurd had to sign off on the MMP license back in '05. So perhaps good ole Ellison is privy to the MMP? My thoughts are that it would fit nicely into his IP acquisition strategy and give him one heck of a competitive advantage.
All in my opinion.
