Thanks to all who have so far offered to contribute money. As yet, the account situation has not been resolved and neither has the decision been made by me (or anyone else) to manage this fund.
For now, I am keeping track of $ commitments from agora posters. In addition to making your pledge via Agoracom, please also send me a private message with your exact dollar amount that you are willing to pledge at this time. I read my e-mail every day. It is much easier for me to keep track of your pledges through my personal messages than to try and read every post on agoracom.
Again, my #1 motivation in wanting to establish a fund is to seek legal counsel regarding corporate governance and how we may go about changing bylaws for the benefit of ALL shareholders. Lawsuits, derivitive actions...blah blah blah... shouldn't be overlooked and certainly pursued if deemed necessary.
Whether you like the BoD or dislike the BoD....or like someone or dislike someone...shouldn't matter. What matters is do you want more of what we have had for years or do you want to take control of your company in whatever legal manner may be available to you? Whether you could have sold, should have sold, need to get out and move on is a personal choice. Deciding who should have the chance to run this company should also be a personal choice. We all know that the voting system currently in place is a farce. The only candidates we ever get to vote on are the same ones who keep nominating themselves or their hand picked choices. I say enough of this BS. Please join me by pledging $1 per 1000 shares owned (or whatever is comfortable for you).
I live in Sacramento, CA. It might be a good idea if we have our own meeting of shareholders who are pledging money. This would be a good way to meet each other and develop our plan. Perhaps we could meet in Sacramento which is very close to an airport. You can offer your suggests via PM when you send me your pledge. It's just an idea ...so don't jump on my case for suggesting my own city.
