TPL has not poured their cash into losing M&A or low liquidity ARSs. They leveraged the MMP to get CORE and Fast Logic (both of which they have sold licenses for this year) and other licesnes, none of which generated revenue for PTSC.

They may be cash deficient or they may be doing just fine and have been using PTSC as a foolish lender. We don't know but there are scenarios where they wouldn't want to fund PTSC's legal efforts against them with MMP license revenue.

Unless you can provide TPL's financials I'm not sure how you can know what their motivations are. I'm merely saying that reaching conclusions without considering all the possibilities is foolish.
