I don't discount your view on why these new MM's are showing up at this time for PTSC - and in this case you may well be right - or . . . . could just be another cycle designed to make shorters several more millions. IMO if you view MM's as purely impartial to which direction the SP goes then IMO you are woefully uneducated in the new world of MM's since the explosion of Hedge Funds.(Trust me, ha ha, I am not uneducated in the new MM world) With our cast of characters from Swartz, & Leckrone, to Pohl & Johnson and a Bermuda bank account to boot. IMO you can rest assured that there have been several cycles that have involved naked short selling. For a recent example look back no further than 7 days last September when PTSC ran from .15 to .42 and over 35 million shares traded. By mid November we were back in the teens.(Don't fault them for what they do, you can't change that. Do as they do is much easier and alot more profitable) There are several of these windows dating back to and including the huge runnup in 2006. These rinse & repeat cycles have made some hedge funds countless millions on PTSC over the past 4 years IMO. Those of you that buy into the days when MM's existed only to "make a market" are ignoring today's realities. Cheers
Learn from the past. BB stocks as an investment is old thinking. Pick your spot to unload at a profit instead of letting gravity suck you dry. When it hits your bottom, reload, rince, & repeat!
Good Luck to all.
