You have been an investor much longer than I have and a valued poster on agoracom. Regarding the umbrella of businesses suggested by Mr. Pohl... you said that you were against this. I was for it then and I'm for it now because:

1. The MMP patent portfolio will expire at some point in time and so will the right to collect money from infringers.

2. Without another source of revenue for PTSC what value would there be in the company?

What we don’t know is if Greg Baroni found a viable partner or buyer for PDSG. We also don’t know if the patents will emerge from the re-exam with full or reduced strength. We don’t know what is happening with TPL and we don’t know if anyone on either side is currently trying to pursue license agreements. We don’t know what the board has been doing since the shareholder meeting because they don’t talk to us. We certainly have no idea what Mr. Mistry has brought to the company ….but it is safe to say that his presence on the board for six months has not yet brought value to shareholders. There is another board member whose name completely escapes me and probably because I have never heard of anything he is personally doing for this company.

What we do know is that two CEOs were hired and fired and a lot of money was wasted on bad M&A decisions, not to mention severance pay and bonuses. So who should be blamed for this, the CEOs or the board? I think the answer to that lies in Gloria’s own words:

We later realized that our management had ventured into a field they knew nothing about and did not fully understand. Big Mistake. Did we do due diligence. I wish you knew how much due diligence we did.

Clearly (at least to me) they are not the right people to run this company. I am guessing that Greg Baroni could easily come up with replacement board members and based on his track record alone, I bet they would have more to offer than legal, accounting and medical experience. Again I would like to say that the board of directors may be well meaning people, of good character and great morals. However, they have failed to do their job and now we seem to be stuck with them and their Big Mistake.
