Sabre, I am simply a trader who cut his teeth in the dot com era/error. After losing a great profit on an overseas O+G company I decided all companies finagle their words/press releases/newsletters. They all want to protect THEIR phony baloney jobs and this crew is right in there with the best/worst of them. From my perspective every company lies and is devious. Those that support them are even worse (even if it is due to ignorance instead of malice). I used to follow that O+G company on a message board (in their infancy) and found that the "smartest" and most vocal had the most to lose. Some had an inside contact that would feed them BS which of course would end up on the board.

From that point on I realised I am a solitary investor. I am not partners, buddies, or friends with anyone else in the investment world. I have no loyalty to anyone else and stand on my own 2 feet. It would be great if everyone made money, but that would be socialistic I believe. There has to be losers to be winners elsewhere. Not everyone gets a trophy in the investment game.

Smart or dumb all depends on your perspective...(remember the midget and the elevator story) In reality I am probably a middle of the road grad school grad. Which of course means nothing. I am here to make money. IMO it has been proven here that you can only do that trading. Long is an term of bygone days. And certainly not a term for penny stocks on the OTCBB.
