Historical thought...

Been away for awhile, but last night I had a thought that hadn`t occurred to me before.... If my thought is correct, it brings to question the timing of past (a year ago?) events. Not that it has any real consequence/significance now, but the thought was:

Did PTSC go after Intel`s customers (some 150) because they knew Moore/TPL were in talks with and were near/had a licensing agreement with Intel? If so, that move had more sinificance at the time, as PTSC would have probably known that going after Intel would have been a waste of time due to patent licensing law when there are multiple assignees. But perhaps not knowing the exact terms of the (pending?) Moore/TPL-Intel agreement, thought there was a chance of nailing Intel`s customers. Also, since patent law virtually forbid them from going after Intel directly since it had/was about to license from Moore/TPL, was this the only viable way to engage Intel in litigation? (i.e., to draw them out).

Again, just a fruitless look at the past, and maybe others have had this thought - it just struck me!

Sorry if I`m pointing out the obvious....

Cuz I KNOW nuttin`!
