Message: That elusive decisive USPTO decision

I’ve been waiting for that final decisive decision for years. Now I wonder if I’ve been looking for the wrong thing.

Perhaps some/many of the USPTO activites are a nice distraction for us, a hopeful distraction. But history seems to be telling us that what was thought to be significant USPTO decisions in the past have had little effect on license sales.

What might be far more important is the competence and resources ($) available to effectively bring groups of those hundreds of infringers into patent litigation at the same time. Without an aggressive broad attack, I don’t see much motivation to buy a license - I see reasons for most to wait. This type of broad aggressiveness need not wait for the next (or next 10) USPTO decisions. It only requires money and competence. We know TPL doesn’t have the money for such an aggressive attack. So how can this resource issue be rectified? IMO, this must be resolved if we are to make big bucks. It's a mistake to be waiting for the next, and the next, and the next, USPTO decision. Suggestions are welcome.
