"et al" means that Brown is not alone in the suit. I would assume it is the entire Intellasys group. If it is about severence pay or any money owed them, why did it take this long to act? Have to guess that it is not about that aspect.

And if it isn't about money owned to the departing Intellasys staff, then it probably has something to do with the ownership of the patents in the VNS portfolio. I assume the agreement with the Intellasys folks was that TPL would get the applications through the USPTO and market the finished product, a la MMP.

But if Lekrone does not have the $ to continue to pay the patent attorney or market the portfolio, perhaps the agreement falls/fell apart. Or perhaps Leckrone tried to pull the same fast one that he pulled on Moore with the MMP. Or....... (and this is the last one) perhaps the VNS portfolio is the business opportunity, and that prompted Brown, et al?
