I`m not aware where Intel has the right in their license agreement w/TPL to transfer rights to anyone. They don`t or never owned the design. After so many years of going for the jugular w/PTSC, I just can`t see how TPL would condone or even write such a broadbrush agreement with Intel to allow for that level of use. That`d be damn near giving away the store...

I can see where the license agreement may (and should) cover silicon produced by Intel that is shipped direct to customers for inclusion in their assemblies - I agree with you there - but that`s where their (customers of Intel) limitations to use should end.

That assumption holds (at least in my mind) since it stated in the latest PACER filing that TPL reps hav traveled to japan to meet and discuss settlement w/majority of the big 5...is there any one of the 5 that does not either create their own chip based on 336 design, but rather buys from Intel?
