I would say right now 1 major reason. USPTO. If you sell at a dime isn't it worth the wait to see what happens with the ruling? What's the worst that can happen. It goes to a penny or zero? You are a dime now! But, if a favorable ruling comes about then you may be happy you held until after the decision.
