over the last week or so?

Does anyone notice that one topic, which I believe is very important to everyone here, basically evaporated by virtue of a few posts by people who virtually never post here?

Was the timing of those posts purely coincidental? Maybe.... But what was the prompt? Issues that have been hanging for how long?

Attention successfully diverted? Herd everyone in different directions?

I'm just posing questions to prompt some thought.... I could very well be completely off base, and freely admit it.

Of course all of the above is meaningless unless you can identify the topic that evaporated. Actually, it evaporated, re-arose briefly, and quickly evaporated again.

And of course it may be that nobody really cares, and the topic simply died a natural death.

Can you identify the topic I'm suggesting?
