milestone, fair comment. I suppose it could be argued that net profit would have an influence on negotiations leading to any future settlement. But I guess the whole point about this thread is the lack of relevance to PTSC of the initial post. Given that the initial post was permitted to remain on the forum rather than being consigned to the OT forum, I was just trying to find some rationale for explaining why it would be relevant at all, either for Caterpillar, which is already a licensee, or for any potential infringers. Having made that point several times now, I hope I'm not reported for 'repetition'; quite happy to let this thread die.
