No one in their right mind would argue that we can collect for past 584 infringement. Our inability to do that was made crystal clear when we were informed new infringement letters were sent out on the 584. I don't think it is so much a matter of whether the patent is stronger or weaker, but the realization that the payoff for 584 infringement has to be significant enough to make it worthwile preparing and presenting a case to a jury.

What I find surprising is that this did not happen at the same time as Barco. And it did not happen right away after the Barco filing. The delay means what? Negotiated?

Is there a reason why we did not include Acer? I thought they also infringed on the 584. ???? Can someone confirm yes or no?
