The Original ShBoom patent was filed Aug. 3, 1989, and is now U.S. Pat. No. 5,440,749.

The patent (containing the ``Fish clock``) is an outgrowth of the above patent and was filed as application # 484918 on June 7, 1995 and was later finaled as the ``336 patent on September 15, 1998.

Perhaps the `336 patent wasn`t written about in the SD news because it wasn`t the `336 patent - yet. It was just application # 484918 filed on June 5, 1995.
