IMO, some pay up because it's pocket change for them / it could still be in the millions / and some refuse just for spite.....For many of these company's our needs might not even be on their stove, let alone the back burner.....

Years ago there was a commercial.........It was for an oil filter........SEE MY NOW OR SEE ME LATER...........A lot of people never change their oil.......
