I think a lot of us are wondering (why no PR) right now. However, I do believe we have a settlement with Barco (for reasons addressed below) and that this consitutes a "material event", but I also believe that PTSC is allotted three business days to disclose this event.

As has been discussed, due to the move of Barco's former legal representation to Alliacense (approved/permitted by the court) and Barco's motion for dismissal (I don't believe it is possible to request dismissal for certain claims only, i.e., it wouldn't be handled this way), I don't believe we can conclude anything short of a settlement. These two things IMO make it pretty much a foregone conclusion.

What I'm wondering is whether there is some issue with the PR, which must be approved by TPL, preventing its immediate release.

It could just be that they are slow in performing their requisite coordination (after a long weekend and possible celebrations).

It could be that after the recent, I would think, added pressure on HTC and Acer to settle, that they are holding out for more news - combining "material events" in one PR/8K.

It could be an argument over the content of the Barco-only PR, where PTSC may be demanding disclosure of the settlement amount in the PR, and TPL is pushing back. This assumes that the settlement amount is respectable.

In any case, since I believe PTSC has three business days in which to disclose - assuming this is considered a "material event" - IMO it's a little too early to get overly excited.

JMHOs,

SGE
