Yup, under the MMP umbrella it appears. Go to the Alliacense site, and navigate to the chart showing MMP patent live cycles. I did not check them out further, as I strongly suspect I would not be capable of assessing their worth. Perhaps your EE contact? Don't know about visibility at the PTO PAIR for these patent apps either (i.e., content) since they are not yet issued. See below, they're there!
Alliacense>Licensing>MMP Portfolio>Technology
5 are under Stack Architecture/'749 (plus one JP)
2 are under Memory Controller
Obviously no patent numbers, but looks like app numbers.
Happy hunting!

PS: Did a little digging in PAIR...
11/981,237 Non-Final Rejection issued 12/9/09. 21 of the original 22 claims were withdrawn by applicant, and the examiner has problems with the remaining Claim 1. We have till 3/9/10 to respond. Interestingly, one of the prior art items listed is a patent by "Moore, et al"!
11/981,453 Non-Final Action issued 12/24/09
11/881,284 Non-Final Action issued 12/9/09
11/981,278 Docketed New Case - Ready for Examination as of 8/25/09
11/981,482 Non-Final Action issued 1/5/10
09/051,263 Docketed New Case - Ready for Examination as of 1/25/10 (3 weeks ago!). Amazingly (perhaps) this app abstract describes the "RISC Microprocessor Architecture" by Fish/Moore.
11/881,283 Final rejection issued 11/24/09
So, it looks like one is dead, others seeing action NOW.
Please have your EE friend check these puppies out.
