1) Who so far (considering their roles, direction and impact) had made the biggest contribution to PTSC`s evolution in their tenure - Blum or Wallin, and why?
2) Lawyers make great Lawyers - Lawyers make great Politicians - Hey, some Lawyers make great baseball coaches (Tony LaRussa!) - Can Lawyers make great Sales/Corporate leaders?
(Side notes)
1)Even thought Blum failed in his sales efforts, he led us to a more evolved, fully functional silicon in the Ignite. The road shows and website were a bust, as the additional dilution he caused. On the plus side, his decision to shut down sales and go for the IP litigation got us to where we are today.
2) Wallin`s failure with the Chinese LOI`s could be termed a sucessful failure - they`re nationalistic pirates and I speculate they wouldn`t have given us fair value in licensing anyway). To be even handed, True, he did instill investor confidence, helped us with the EEMBC benchmarks, and if he didn`t help us get more confidence and funding, he at least helped prevent more people from voting with their feet on this stock, given the radical direction change inplemented by Blum.
IMHO, Patriot is plugging Pohl in to help them short-term. Pohl doesn`t help them on a sales-oriented path. I see him as a placeholder. It would be an insult to him to ask him to direct anything else but in the legal arenas - His career and forte is Legal. If Patriot was committed to hitting the ground running, they would have recruited the right talent the first time.
On the surface, Corrigan is not well served thorough this move, at least not in the short term. If this IS the way it is, I fear Pohl won`t be able to fully relate to any issues Corrigan has, nor will he be able to give experienced direction. And Corrigan will have his hands already full in crafting and implementing a ground-up sales plan.
An interesting question to ask Corrigan would be if he knew this leadership change was coming prior to hire...
All in my humble (spinning) opinion.
Regards.
