But, IMO, you leave out the important issue that history, and the currently consistently dropping share price would reveal.
That is that if the positive outcome that we hope for some day comes about, is this current BOD going to be able to make decisions, elucidate a strategy, select managers, and approve business transactions that will maximize the fruits of that windfall, which just as it was in the past, won't be an everlasting revenue flow in the future due to the expiration of the patents. We have a very clear historical picture that shows that they are not capable of that. Apparently, by the dropping shareprice, most investors feel that they won't in the future.
That is why it is important to so many to exert pressure on the BoD to effect change therein. If there is none, then it is idiocy to expect a different result in the future.
