I also found some dots that may connect the Kaiser - Veterans Administratiopn deal Karlwest mentioned yesterday to Crossflo. Kaiser is partnered with Epic Systems, a healthcare player who in turn lists HP as one of their key partners. Granted HP sells many products. However, wasn't it Goerner who said PDSG would sell very few products to anyone directly. It would be its partners that would make the sales. This sector will really heat up once the $30 billion of Tarp money designated to healthcare electronic data projects begin to hit the streets.
The pilot program connects Kaiser Permanente HealthConnect® and the VA’s electronic health record system, VistA, two of the largest electronic health record systems in the country.
