However, I do not agree that repeatedly beating the dead horse on this board is going to provide any material help. It's the wrong audience.

If you feel that strongly that providing a thumb is not sufficient, you might want to consider voting accordingly. If that is not sufficient you might consider writing or calling PTSC. And if that is not sufficient, then you might consider going to Chicago and voicing your conerns. The tragic truth is reposting your frustrations here, 10, 100, 1000 times a day, will get you squat.
