IMHO, there is nothing in original claim 3 that does not exist elsewhere. Nothing has been lost with respect to claims. IMHO, nothing at all is lost, since the amendments are simply for clarification. They do not change the invention in any way. Example off chip added to explain what external meant. Well, daaaaa.
