``And in your GM analogy, the dealer has already paid GM up front (or agreed to pay a stipulated price) for every car that reaches the lot, so as long as GM`s corporate image isn`t damaged, GM couldn`t care less how much control the dealer exerts over the sale or what price the dealer sets for the consumer.``
So it`s your contention that TPL can license under whatever conditions/prices they see fit, even though they would be cheating themselves also. In fact, based on some posters interpetation of things, they would probably be losing even more that PTSC on a bad deal, because TPL must surely be getting a larger slice of each license deal than PTSC. Sorry, don`t buy it.
HOWEVER, I will concede one thing, but TPL`s ``control`` of our IP is not really a part of it. The way I have read the way things are laid out, Alliacense(?) will undoubtedly be paid a fee for their work in producing the licenses. If there were any hanky-panky, I would be willing to bet that the fee paid to them would be the place where they would try to screw us (PTSC shareholders). I will be keeping a close eye on that information in future filings.
