So now TPL controls our IP, huh? I don`t recall reading anywhere that we couldn`t make our own deals if we wanted to - however we don`t want to, so what`s the problem. Think maybe they built into the deal with TPL that PTSC has the power to nix deals if they don`t like them? Naw, that would just be good business sense. OUR lawyers would have enver thought to negotiate that because we onl hire inept ones.
And now TPL is going to take us private? That`s even better than the idea expressed above. First of all, I agree with what Brian said long ago - PTSC`s being public is an attractive characteristic, not a negative. TPL could make more money by acquiring PTSC stock and pumping the hell out of it than they could ever achive by taking it public.
Oh, but wait. Our former greedy enemy is now our ally. Greedy? I`d say that`s a pretty subjective perspective. Somehow I can see fellows on the other side of the coin seeing PTSC as greedy. But no, that couldn`t be, because everything should have been ours from the git go. That`s why Fish was the only name on the patent.
Now JW? I gotta admit when ron posted that he hadn`t heard back from JW my first thought was that he could be gone. Not happy to see him go if he is gone, but wouldn`t this make sense from a business perspective. We just hired a tech-savvy guy to sell. At this stage in the game wouldn`t it make more sense for our CEO to have more of a legal background? However this aspect plays out, hopefully it will be for the best.
Sorry to try to bring some sunshine to your thunderstorm. But I just don`t see where all this negativity is coming from.
