Hi biajj,
I'm surprised by your thoughts, because you seem to have changed your assessment of the BoD to the positive.
If they only realize half of what you expect it would indicate a strong board (what I hope it is, because the current board members are the only one's with a PTSC experience besides us shareholders...lol).
Here my comments to your expectations:
* Engagement of a significant Operating Partner
* Announcement of plans for a corporate acquisition, asset sale, or possibly even Merger.
Both points could be done by one action and would require a reliable source of revenue = validated patents from the MMP
* Arrangement of a Stock Swap, or Private Stock Sale (Common or Preferreds)
Interesting point - do you think it would be connected with point 2 then?
* Introduction of no fewer than 2 new BOD candidates, possibly as many as 4 new ones
My guess is we'll see this in combination with the first two points and/or the next decisions regarding the Baroni report
* Appointment of a BOD Chairman, and new Management team
Though I had hoped we would see a new Ceo by the 1st of December it could be possible they present the new one at the Shareholder Meeting.
* Corporate Name Change from Patriot Scientific Corporation
I don't think this is important now.
* Reorganized and a more aggressive MMP Licensing/Prosecution campaign
I've said it many times: As long as the patents are not fully revalidated there is no other way to do the licensing business as TPL does. And I'm sure TPL is as professional as they must be to obtain the maximum out of the patents, thus I'm confident we'll see faster and financial stronger license acitivities, once we are "free" from the USPTO.
* Revised "target focus" for the Umbrella Strategy
PTSC has to think through its current strategy of concentrating on the government & healthcare area; the umbrella strategy itself is the right one IMO (though some here are not happy with it due to the lack of success)
* A professional, experienced and genuine effort for better Investor Relations
Again I repeat myself: As long as the "products" are not ready there's no need to communicate with the market.
GLTY and let's hope the next weeks bring us some nice gifts!
