Withall the guessing both here and over at raging bullsh**, with regard possible settlement terms with TPL/MOORE.....I get the impression that most feel PTSC was backed into a corner and negotiating at less than a favorable position.
However, I would like to think that it was TPL/MOORE moving fast/forward with a sense of urgency due to Leckrones` pending bankrupcy hearing. If the cloud hanging over the deal they had with Intel was indeed a no payment until ownership issue was resolved.....then maybe they were on the defensive conceding to PTSC demands. Someone on board here quoted JW just a few weeks ago as saying they were still looking for counsel and planned on just taking the next step as it came referring to the CMC.
I just sense that Wallin would not quickly and to our disadvantage settle at less than favorable and perhaps equal terms. PTSC did not have to settle by the CMC date....both parties merely informed the court they were negotiating is the way I see it. With AMD money in the bank, I just think that they were able stall a little bit longer than maybe Leckrone and perhaps even Intel would like.
