Interesting indeed. There is Greg Baroni who is supposed to be hard at work for us. Well maybe he is, he has been schmoozing Dan Banister most of the evening. What were they talking about? If he really was working and working for us, he could have been getting some help with Vigilys. I was trying to draw some conclusion and after reading up on Dan, he is well connected to the government and the history section of DynCorp would suggest that Dan has been involved in mission critical government work on many levels while working for DynCorp. But who knows?
SAN DIEGO -- SYS Technologies, Inc. ("SYS") (AMEX: SYS), a leading provider of information connectivity solutions that enable situational awareness and real-time collaboration, announced today that their Vigilys product has successfully completed an evaluation by the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Support Center. SYS, who recently entered into a merger agreement with Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: KTOS), had this evaluation conducted in support of the Incident Management Systems Integration Division within the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Establishes Vigilys as NIMS Compliant Product; Enhances Opportunities for Target Customers to Obtain Funding
We are delighted to have successfully completed this evaluation by the National Incident Management System Support Center
Specifically, the report indicated that "Subject Matter Experts conducting the evaluation determined that the product is consistent with the concepts and principles of NIMS and rated the categories, Emergency Support Functions, Hazards, and Implementation (both Time and Training), with a value of five out of five. The primary benefit of the system is that it provides emergency managers and responders with a tool to help them establish a common operating picture and enhanced situational awareness. The product is a useful tool for both Emergency Operations Center and field operation personnel."

A Brief History of DynCorp International
DynCorp International LLC has its origins with two companies formed in 1946—Land-Air, Inc., and California Eastern Airways.
Land-Air, Inc., which became the predecessor to DynCorp International's Maintenance and Technical Support Services (MTSS) Division, reached a major milestone in 1951, when it was awarded the first Contract Field Teams (CFT) contract by the Air Force Logistics Command (AFLC). Contract field teams provide mission support and depot-level repair to U.S. military aircraft and weapons systems worldwide. DynCorp International and its predecessors have provided services under the CFT program continuously since being awarded that first contract.
Also in 1951, Land-Air, Inc. was acquired by California Eastern Airways, Inc. (later California Eastern Aviation, Inc.). In 1962, California Eastern Aviation, Inc., changed its name to Dynalectron Corporation, and in 1987, Dynalectron changed its name to DynCorp.
In 1998, DynCorp established DynCorp Technical Services, Inc. (DTS), and transferred its existing aerospace and international-division business—including contracts later held by DynCorp International—to the new DTS subsidiary.
In December 2000, DynCorp formed DynCorp International LLC, and transferred to it all of its international business. DynCorp Technical Services LLC continued to perform DynCorp’s domestic contracts.
In March 2003, DynCorp and its subsidiaries were acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). DynCorp remained the parent of its existing subsidiaries, including DTS and DynCorp International LLC, and CSC became their ultimate parent.
In 2004, CSC made a strategic decision to divest itself of its non-core businesses, including security and aviation services. As part of that decision, CSC transferred its aviation services business segment into a separate CSC subsidiary, DTS Aviation Services. The U.S. Government approved the transfer of government prime contracts that were part of this business to DTS Aviation Services on September 30, 2004.
On December 12, 2004, DynCorp and CSC entered into an agreement to sell DynCorp International LLC, including its subsidiaries Dyn Marine Services LLC and DTS Aviation Services LLC, to DI Acquisition Corp, an affiliate of Veritas Capital Management. The sale closed on February 11, 2005, and the purchaser was renamed DynCorp International Inc. DynCorp International Inc. is the corporate parent of DynCorp International LLC.
SeaPort-e
SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) has made electronic procurement of Engineering, Financial, and Program Management support services a reality.
Using SeaPort-e, the Navy Virtual SYSCOM (VS) Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP, and SPAWAR) has adopted an integrated approach to contracting for support services.
SeaPort-e provides a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations from a large and diverse community of approved contractors, as well as a platform for awarding and managing performance-based task orders.
This unified approach allows SeaPort-e service procurement teams to leverage their best products, practices, and approaches across the Navy's critical service business sector.
SeaPort-e provides a faster, better, and more cost-effective means of contracting for professional support services.
To support these goals, DynCorp International has assembled a team of geographically dispersed companies that complement each other and provide the highest levels of service
