Thomas F. Frist, III Elected to SAIC Board of Directors
MCLEAN, Va. and SAN DIEGO, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- SAIC, Inc. (NYSE: SAI - News) today announced that Thomas F. Frist, III has been elected as a member of the SAIC Board of Directors effective Sept. 23, 2009.

Frist has been a principal of Nashville-based investment company Frist Capital, LLC since 1998. Prior to that, he co-managed FS Partners, LLC, and worked at Rainwater, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas and in New York. Since 2006, Frist has served on the board of directors of HCA, Inc., a leading provider of healthcare services that owns and operates approximately 163 hospitals and 105 freestanding surgery centers. From 1999 to 2006, he served on the board of Triad Hospitals, Inc.
Frist received a B.A. degree from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

SAIC is very decisive company. They don't play around. With this move it can be assumed they are well on their way to entering the Health care Industry in a big way. And they are one of our partners. I wouldn't be surprized to see them buy a company already addressing Health Care. That is the way they operate. They are a conglomerate of many small companies bought along the way. That is how they enter an Industry and they are always very successful.
