SAIC Awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement to Support U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
Company to Provide Comprehensive Information Technology Infrastructure Support Services to the Office of Environmental Information SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 1
SAN DIEGO and MCLEAN, Va., Oct. 1 -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a prime multiple-award blanket purchase agreement (BPA) by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to support the Office of Environmental Information (OEI) by providing a wide range of information technology (IT) services. The BPA was awarded under the Information Technology Solutions-Environmental Protection Agency II contract, and has a seven-year period of performance, and a ceiling value of $955 million for all awardees. Work will be performed under the direction of EPA's Office of Technology Operations and Planning.
EPA's OEI is responsible for the management and implementation of a secure IT infrastructure, and provides the agency with IT solutions to support mission success. Under the BPA, SAIC will compete to provide a broad range of support services as required in areas including call center and application deployment management; network and user support; geospatial services; and IT security.
