Alliacense is a vehicle through which PTSC pays for TPL's licensing activities.

Go to the Alliacense site and look at their overview of the MMP license. Not a single mention of PTSC. And their 3 other products are ones PTSC has zero interest in. Yet Alliacense is 50% funded by PTSC.
