I don`t think that work-around will work. Wash rule will kick in, and you won`t be able to use the write-off. You can try the shell game work-around, but if you get audited, you`ll get caught with your britches around your ankles. JMHO.... So think before you sell with the idea of getting write-offs. Better yet, consult your tax advisor!
