You say all this signal stuff is silly. And you say that for 25,000 shares the difference is a mere $2.50. Why on earth would the mm's care about an extra $2.50? Are they that desperate? It's because it is silly that I believe there is more going on here/there. For $2.50 why bother? Now if you were talking 250,0000 that would be $25.00 and that might be worth the effort, ( it won't even pay for half a parking ticket in my town). I still contend that all these numbers could be signals, but I just haven't taken the time to track them. If any one would it might be illuminating, one way or the other. Even if you were to track today's numbers you might see something about the way the drop in price reversed (tracking the bid and ask movement as well as the actual selling/buy price of course). Anyway, I wish I could believe all the mm's were on the up and up and that the price moved up or down based on earnings, but that really would be silly, IMO.
