Patriot Scientific Corporation sells MMP license to Melco Holdings

Provider of data sharing and secure data solutions Patriot Scientific Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: PTSC) on Friday said that Melco Holdings Inc, a Japanese computer peripherals manufacturing company, has purchased a Moore Microprocessor Patent (MMP) Portfolio license from The TPL Group.

The Moore Microprocessor Patent Portfolio contains intellectual property that is jointly owned by the TPL Group and Patriot Scientific Corporation. The MMP Portfolio includes seven US patents as well as its European and Japanese counterparts. The MMP Portfolio reportedly protects fundamental technology used in microprocessors, microcontrollers, digital signal processors (DSPs), embedded processors and system-on-chip (SoC) devices.
