After reading the decision I come to the conclusion (but watch out, I'm a layman!) the Deutsche Telekom didn't have strong arguments against the patent.

They only concentrated on supposed mistakes in the procedures regarding the patent registration in Germany and Europe - no argument with other patents, prior art etc.

Thus I'm not sure what an appeal can do for the Deutsche Telekom besides delaying the case because the legal facts are straight and simple.

I'll try to find out, how long it takes with the appeal process and inform the board.
