Per the Wikipedia article, Baroni was fired from Unisys. I inferred from the circumstances surrounding his departure, that he might have been vying for the CEO position as Unisys' BOD was in the process or getting rid of the CEO, and when Baroni didn't get that, he left. However, based on the Wiki info, it implies that Baroni was part of the BOD's house cleaning.

In the end, I guess it doesn't matter too much either way at this point, but there are interesting tidbits of info in this Wki article and the links associated with it that tie Unisys to Jack Abramoff, and to possible questionable practices with the TSA contract (something that Baroni touts as being instrumental in).

Clearly, it points to Baroni being a player and able to work big deals for his side, but also suggests that a more keen eye might need to be placed on what he does and has done.

I found it interesting reading, and figured I'd post for others to review as well.
