Well, what did the "three amigos" get out of the deal they made? I believe the the company got something and they did as well, even if it was only to keep their jobs. However, the question in my mind is: is there something they got that is less obvious and more obscured? ( example: studio wants to do filming or something else. They use a council person's house for a location and pay a huge fee for "the location". Council person has not been bribed. He just has a business relationship with the studio.) All on the up and up. All in the open if you or anyone is paying attention. Also how about if the house has to be remodeled so that it has the right look? Or maybe just a paint job? Now what if the studio pays a fee for a property of a council person that is in a place about 300 miles away? Who in one town is going to know what is going on in another? Just my t and o.
