Crossflo brings together disparate databases so that multiple sources of information can be accessed and shared securely, easily and quickly, Crossflo of San Diego, California said. Netrics enhances the solution by ensuring that the information between these sources is properly matched so that accuracy is achieved, the company said. The Netrics technology enables customers to see how each piece of data is related to every other piece of data, thereby providing a solid foundation for enterprise data management, it said.

After the Crossflo software extracts data from various components of the corporate databases, the Netrics technology is employed to find related records or duplicates across disparate databases, which helps to provide a more complete solution to Crossflo's customers, Netrics of Princeton, New Jersey said.

The Netrics software has an API (application program interface) interface, and automatically handles all types of source data, so that it is ready to go out of the box, Crossflo said. Netrics staff was also supportive and responsive to Crossflo’s needs, the company said. Netrics offered the best-of-breed algorithm for matching and de-duplicating master patient index records, which is a critical component of any health information exchange (HIE), Crossflo added.

Crossflo can extract data from any database, without lengthy custom programming efforts, Netrics said. Netrics ensures the accuracy of the data, considering the plethora of data entry errors and record duplication that plague enterprises around the world, the company said.

Netrics products include the Real-World Data Matching Platform, which is a software tool for accurately dealing with a range of data issues, Netrics said. The matching engine tolerates an unprecedented level of errors in both the source and target data, the company said. Netrics’ The Decision Engine, which creates automated decision-models for matching/linking records, detecting duplicates, resolving entities, and many other data-driven decisions, it said.

The Netrics platform is designed to integrate into virtually any data or application environment, Netrics said.
