I also think that the absence of CM was the main reason for TPL being unable to resolve what appeared to be relatively simple issues with both the '584 and the '336.

Even if TPL and CM hate each other, I have a hard time believing that CM would intentionally sit out of the re-exam process. Talk about a lose - lose. Both CM and TPL want postive re-exams at all costs!
