Washakie Medical Center earns highest quality achievement
WORLAND, Wyo. (Oct. 15, 2008) -- Washakie Medical Center has received the Mountain-Pacific Quality Health Foundation achievement award in recognition for its commitment to sustained performance and improvement in providing quality patient care.
The 2008 quality achievement award is Montain-Pacific's highest award, being awarded to only two hospitals in the state. It reflects Banner's commitment to its nonpprofit mission of making a difference in peoples' lives through excellent patient care.
Specifically, this year’s awards recognized Washakie Medical Center's performance on core quality projects: acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, pneumonia and as well as its leadership traits.
