Page 17 examiner says

"second clock remains in synchronism with first clock since a linear relation exists between the two clock frequencies."

Page 30 examiner says

"In Kato, the two clock frequencies are never synchronized to each other since second clock frequency is never same as first clock frequency."

The examiner knew the weakness of Kato being a synchronous system while the 336 is asynchronous. Anticipating the argument, I think the examiner is saying Kato is both and in fact it does not matter whether Kato is one or the other.

I suspect we might argue that examiner erred in the statement on page 30. That is not a proper definition of asynchronous dual clock system. Well IMHO Opty
