Message: IMO, a license sold based on the Germany patent will bring in the same amount

Imo "dozens" of companies that licensed early at early mover discounts were the low hanging fruit licenses. That has since dried up as it seems and companies are not as willing to come forward and pay higher license fees. IMO unlike the companies that licensed early, remaining companies are waiting for the USPTO because the MMP could be weakened or found invalid. These companies are doing all they can to delay and avoid paying unlike the companies that licensed early. The ruling by the German counterpart of the USPTO in favor of the MMP may very well kick off licensing in Europe. Negotiating the deal may take a while. Can you accept that it may take some time yet to realize the fruits of the German ruling to get licenses completed? Can you also understand that the early mover licenses may be done and that remaining companies are dragging their feet in hopes of a weakened patent coming from the USPTO re-examination or at least delaying licensing?

All the best,

Steve
